What I did on a rainy afternoon. (or didn't do)

Hmmm, it's raining baby.
She raised her head, looked over at me and said nothing, laid back down.
I was standing in the hotel room doorway, watching the sweet easy rain of Jamaica fall from the heavens.
We had been out for a late breakfast and were back in the room, trying to decide what to do that afternoon.
Well, no traveling I thought to myself.
I looked down at my cooler.
It was half filled with water and ice from the night before.
I could see round brown shapes under the water and ice.
Man, I still have some brews left.
I reached in and the water was ice cold.
The beers the same.
A nice smile creeped over my face.
It was like I had solved the riddle of the day.
Pop, went the top.
The rain was coming straight down, so I could still sit on the covered veranda without getting wet.

I arranged the boom box close to the door and kicked back.
It was a good afternoon.
