Yeah, we did the Zimbali farm tour and lunch. I definitely recommend it! The tour is excellent and includes some coconut jellies and bananas, right from the tree. We had some time to chill with the owners and enjoy a sorrel drink or Red Stripe before lunch. Beautiful, relaxing place. The food demo was great and the meal was excellent.

"Farm to Table" is trendy now in the US and people pay good money to eat at restaurants that claim this mantra. In Jamaica, its not a trend -its the only way to eat for most people. Zimbali is a great place to experience true farm-to-table fare.

We are going to have dinner there when we head back to Negril in February. Quick question -- how far in advance do you need to book your reservation for dinner? I only ask because two of our friends will be in Negril when we are, but we don't know yet if they want to go with us.

    Thanks!

We made our reservation before we left for Negril. At least a week or 2 in advance. Seating is limited (as you can see from Rob's picture) so we wanted to make sure we got a spot. I think they can accommodate only 8 people.
