Anyone taken a day trip or half day to the rhodes hall beach. Do they come and pick you up from your negril hotel? Is it better to make your own way there? Is it certain days only? Is it a worthwhile snorkelling experience, and right off the beach? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!
The snorkeling is a few hundred yards off shore (unless seagrass is your thing). I'd just hop a route to get there, not sure if they're still doing pickup.
Someone Rhodes Hall! lol. Yes, they come pick you up in Negril at your place of stay. Snorkeling is GREAT!! Yes, right off the beach! We have stayed there many times. I would do a day or two stay there. IMO. Ask away!

Just my experience, but when I called for a pickup they said they would only come get us if we signed up for their horseback riding or some other activity. They wouldn't pick us up just to lay on their beach and snorkel. A route taxi will get you there pretty quickly. A private taxi for 2 would probably be ~$30 round trip from the cliffs.Originally Posted by Vince

I signed up for a pickup for a party of 4. They never did pick us up.
Very possible for that to happen. IMO, Get a route taxi to drop ya'll off then call when ready to go back into "town". I know Steve Positive Tours can help ya on that.

The good snorkeling (reef) is a few hundred yards off the beach. You have to either swim there, or take a boat.
