Visiting a friend in Little London
Time to head to Little London.
My friend said she would be waiting on the road for me.
I made my way to the Taxi Park and this time made sure I got
in the right taxi.
SAV! SAV! I heard the man say.
"Is this taxi going to Little London, I asked.
Yeah mon, Yeah mon, and he opened the back door.
The front was already filled, so I had to get in the back
.
There was 1 person already in the back and then 2 more folks followed behind me.
So, 4 in the back.
If you are one of the two that are in the middle, the best thing to do is lean a little forward,
and the person by the door can have room.
We left the park, made the right turn and we were on our way.
I had been there before, but could not remember what her house looked like.
Luckily I had my J-cell phone in my hand and called her.
"I'm on the road, waiting on you" she said.
Good baby, I think I am close.
I was reading all the big signs along the way, advertising upcoming events and concerts.
All of the sudden I saw her.
Wearing a pair of Daisy Duke shorts and a bright yellow top.
I said "THIS IS MY STOP MON", he slowed down, stopped and I got out.
It feels so nice to see a good friend after being away for months.
"We are cooking Crab tonight, do you like it?
Sure doll,
I love all sea food, except Squid and Octopus.
She made a face at the mention of Squid and laughed.
You know darling, I am ready for.........and a cold Red Stripe appeared in her hand.
I said "that's my baby, and I don't mean maybe"
She giggled and gave me a tight hug.
So, I sat and smoked a bit waiting on an early dinner.
The crab was good, with rice, but you had to work to get the meat out of the shell.
"Next time I will get the meat out for you", she said.
It was a nice evening.
