    If you take a metal spoon, stir up your coffee with it and then put the rounded part on the bite, the heat will break down the junk in the bite and stop the itch. Of course putting the spoon in hot water also works, but kill two birds with one stone.

    Do you mean the Leaf of Life tree? It's used for bites, inflammation etc.
    We have one growing outside of our window here...

    Guinea Hen repels mosquitos neem from the bush doctor mixed with coconut oil will heal them up and stop the itch

    I always bring Tea Tree oil with me. Helps keep them away and relieves the itching

    Fresh Aloe Vera. Use the gel from the leaves to soothe sunburn, insect bites, dry skin. I really don't know if there is anything aloe vera is not good for.
    Also, a very effective commercial Jamaican product available from the pharmacy is an ointment called Mac's Calamine D. It really helps calm the itch.
    (How can all you boardies not think of recommending aloe vera?
