Family of beach musicians????

In December, there was a singing family on the beach. Grandpa on stand-up bass. Dad on snare drum/singing , and five boys singing, and being rambunctious {boys will be boys} grin. I thought they told me their name was the Carter Family. I just want to clarify on their name. If you see them, ask them for me....o.k.? They are pretty good. Tip them. Thanks.

Hey Farmer! Yes, they were very good musicians. They played about 4 songs & everyone tipped them well. I didn't catch their names. They have a cd for sale.

First we're headed back to Negril next Friday after a couple of years absence. We've been going there though since 1997 and remember when it was Dervin that was the young teenager with his dad Joseph playing on the beach. The last few times we were in Negril, Dervin had been off island (we heard he had been in Germany but who knows). Anyway, we're looking forward to seeing and hearing him and Joseph again, it looks like with his kids this time.

Many years ago while we were there my friend Randy had them come to his room and he made a digital recording of them that he later burned on a CD. He named the CD "Father and Son"
Do not know their last names but father is Joseph and son is Dervin

JahCruiser - Your friend Randy came back to Negril with a bunch of those CDs for Dervin to sell. We were his first sale. I just found the CD in my collection and the hand written cover says Father & Son, one love Joseph and Dervin Fisher!
