I've always wondered about passports for young children. Do they have to be renewed earlier than adults? It seems like you would have to since they change so much and grow so fast...

Thanks for all the responses! We are cliff dwellers but are 90% sure we would have to do the beach. Beach people just seem to be more ok with any kind of noise. We are thinking late November so he/she would be about ten months. I'm also kind of leery about them crawling around in the sand. Maybe grandma will get them for a week! Last hoorah for us cliff side

second daughter was 8 months old first time she came with us. It of course could be different for everyone obviously but she travelled very well. It was a bit rough as she was just starting to get on her feet and things are very hard in Jamaica(lots of stone and tile) so when she fell it hurt. She was also hadnt been eating solid foods for long and she absolutely LOVED all the fresh fruit. She loved being in the sea and playing in the sand. And actually slept there better than at home. We have been bringing both of our kids since little one was still in mommas tummy and big sis was not quite 4 yet. Now they are veterans and are getting really excited as it is only a couple more weeks till we get our Jam on!
