    Juta Busses

Will be in JA end of feb with mom and sis and brother inlaw. planning on taking a JUTA bus to Negril. what is the process for this. do I contact them ahead of time or do I just wait till I get there. I believe the cost is $25 per person. I think this would be fun with the 3 newbies. I hope there would be other riders on the bus. last year I took JUTA for the first time and there was one other gal on the bus with me, kinda well, less than exciting.

You just walk up to the JUTA desk at the airport, plop down your money and hop on the bus. We have used JUTA many times and always enjoy the ride and the stops.

Agreed, no way I'd take a JUTA bus with 4 people. Charter the ride from one of the sponsors and sit back and relax. Stop where you want to, get supplies, change money, etc. etc. It's a relatively quick trip in a charter, not so in a bus that stops frequently.

I was thinking about the comradery with all the other tourists. all the stories from the other tourists, all the excitement of the tourists, that is what I missed when I only had one other passenger on the JUTA bus last year. I think that a group of 10 or 12 mixed newbies and veterans gets people more exited that 1 veteran and 3 newbies. anyway I do not need to book online???

No need to book online, unless you just want to. We always just go to the JUTA desk at the airport.
