Marko, I am guessing you mean that one receives 117.50 JMD for one US dollar? That would be a bit less than 3% off the official exchange rate of 120.18 (today), which is what I'd expect to get. At an airport kiosk, I expect more like a 7% difference. Using an ATM, I usually see a 2% difference - plus, depending on your bank and the ATM, possibly a straight ATM transaction fee.
