No. In fact Hi-Lo will sell you a case of cold beer minus the crate for a fair price. As you walk in you are assured to be greeted by one of the awesome Hi-Lo employees, just tell them what you want and it will be waiting for you at checkout.
I just bought a 6 pack of Red Stripe at Hi Lo on Tuesday. Price was $670 J which includes a $60 deposit. Sounds like a good price to me. Personally, I don't see a need to stop at Mega Mart.

HiLo and ValueMaster a six pack has been $844 per six pack this Winter except when they have one of dem sales....which isn't often
generally Beer prices are much higher in Jamaica than our prices in N America......mi can buy Red Stripe Beer for less in Florida than Jamaica
sames goes for the big bottles of Appleton Rum Special.......in Florida mi can get dem for around $20US on sale.......try doing dat here in Jamaica.......

It's $850 for a 6 pack at Shamrock. $734 at HiLo as of 2 weeks ago. Since we stay at the Shamrock it was cheaper to buy it there than paying for a taxi to the HiLo.

So I will be back in Negril in 10 days or so and will have to stock up some beer in my room. Where will I find the best price for a paper pack of 24 red stripes and is there a discount for buying twenty 24's at once? L+M, the Chinamans store, Quality ???? Appreciate the help.
