I feel bad for my neighbors up north and the decline of the dollar. According to this article that is 6 months old, it is attributed to oil. Same excuse on why our stock market tanked over the past couple of weeks.

So having your purchasing power drop by 30-40% does not justify even a little whining? Whoa there, Sandman. We have more than our share (the wood people), absolutely, but we're not all like that. Far from it.
I know TAH. But when you generalize about an entire country like that it displays both arrogance and ignorance. The vast majority of Americans I have met have been really nice. But there's always a jerk in the crowd.
As for those posting that our dollar has been strong up until recently, that if not accurate. We bave been under par with the greenback for a long time now, just been getting real bad the last couple years.
