Just an update - I put clear nail polish on each bite (at the advise of someone who seemed to know lots more than I did) and it seems to be working! The itching has gone down lots, and the bites are less inflamed and appear to be starting to fade. IDK, but I was told that the nail polish also kills any eggs that may be in there (ugh....) Since I haven't gotten any new bites, it's really really good news that we don't seem to have brought any of those buggers home with us.
