We have stayed at Grand Pineapple a couple of times and we have enjoyed the staff, especially the bartenders. We are returning to a different resort in April and we were wondering if we could stop in as we walked the beach and buy a drink from the Grand Pineapple bar.
We realize it's an all inclusive but were wondering if drinks could be purchased by non-guests.
(BTW....this will settle a bet between the wife and I)

If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!
I stayed there in 2009 and at that time they would not allow our friend in to buy drinks at the bar. Maybe things have changed since then.

You can not purchase drinks from the beach bar. They do not have a cash drawer. However if your a returning guest and they remember you. You might get a draught for stopping by.
Generally, AI's are not set up for any cash transactions, so I would guess no. there pretty guarded against anyone who is not there guests. Shoot, When I walk the beach down by Sandals and
Beaches, if I get to close to the property, the security guards will come up and tell me "can't be on the property, you have to walk by the beach..........then proceed to ask for my phone number, every
freakin one of them.....smh !!
You can buy a day pass to GP that would include food and drink, but you have to approach from the road and go in the office first.
Security will not let you in from the beach side.
So to settle the bet, the answer is no, you cannot approach from the beach and buy a drink.
Skolyy how much is this pass? And what about if you want to see Courtney to get something carved?
You can go see Courtney, no problem. Just approach beach security first, to tell them your intentions.
We inquired about that a couple of years ago and it was $75. per person per day at that time.
