    HiLo in Negril

What types of liquor am I likely to find there if I pop into the one at Sunshine Village?

Is there a better place in Negril to look?

    Thanks!

Their selection is pretty good, and even in the red wine dept....not too shabby! What are you looking for?

Rum; Appleton and otherwise. They had a promotion on Rum Bar products a week or so ago. They have several kinds of over-proof, rum cream and other cream liquors. Larger bottles and small bottles of each kind. Peanut blend rum creams, several vodkas including the locally produced Kirov (I think that's the name), Skye Vodka and very expensive Grey Goose. Pretty good wine selection. Also some U.S. Whiskey and Canadian Rye too.

Grab your liquor duty free on the way. Example, I paid roughly $50 for a bottle of Jager that I can buy at home for approx. $18. Outside of rum, you will pay a premium for import alcohol. You will find a few exceptions like Havana Club rum(Cuban), but anything that brings you comfort at home will be pricey.

Marko, what is the store's official name? Is it right next door to the Burger King?

I'm curious as well. You have two China Mon stores across the street from each other. One on the BK side of the road and the other on the Scotia side of the road. I prefer the one by BK as you usually have hustlers hanging by the Scotia one.
