But, Dad! He was too high, I had to drive the Scooter!

I have been to this town before, many times he told her.
I ride motorcycles all the time at home.
So, they walked a bit and he found the scooter rental place right away.
The bike was new looking, real nice.
He was on a secret hunt, she wanted food.

They found a nice little local place and she ordered the chicken.
I'll be right back, he walked off a bit and came back with a cup.
I found what I was looking for he said with a smile.
    "what's that" she asked him.
    "Tea" a special tea.
Uh, no thanks. I'm not messing with that stuff.
    So, she ordered some chicken.
    He said he wasn't hungry.
They chilled a while and relaxed.
Her,just staring off into the sea.

After a while, it was time for them to head back.
He had started to laugh a lot, walking with a little jump in his step and acting crazy.
"His eyes, Dad" you should have seen his eyes!

You told me, "never to get in a car with a drunk or buzzed driver".

He was walking around. laughing and smiling like a fool sitting on a hill.

There was a very big parking lot, barely any cars in it.
So, my angel drove the scooter.
Up and down, back and forth, her first time on a scooter.
    I've got it!
"Get your laughing a-- on the scooter" she told him.
He piled on and squeezed her real tight.
"Easy mon' she said, We'll be home in a jiffy.
She hit the street and remembered to drive on the left.

She was enjoying this, down the road, around the round-a-bout, down the road.
    Weeee! This is fun.
Laughing boy was feeling no pain.
They made it to the hotel safe and sound.

That's my baby, and I don't mean maybe.
    Good job girl!
