You decide -Part Two

So, I was just sitting there, then I heard this sound.
The sound of someone running, getting closer.
It was coming from behind me.
It sounded like "Splat, Splat...the sound of someone, problbly a kid in those
shoes that don't have a back.
It was getting closer.
You can tell when the sound is coming directly towards you.
I usually keep my cool, but I had to turn around!
She was right up on me!
My sister-in law's young 12 year old, she had spotted me and made a bee line right towards me.

Knowing I like to play,
If I had not turned, she would have jumped right on my back or something.
"Ahhh, caught you! she said.
No, no, I caught you! You did not reach me before I turned.
We both got a laugh out of that.
She was on her way to someplace with relatives.
They got in a taxi and headed out before my date arrived.
So, I went back to people watching.

I was sitting on that cement waiting block,

Just then I heard "are you ready"
Now she "did" sneak up on me.
Looking Good! Hair freshly done up!

Hey baby, you look nice.

" Thanks" she said.
I changed my mind, I think we can try 3-Dives for dinner.

Ok, that'll work.
Lets find the West End Taxi guy"I said.

Funny, sometimes there will be a hundred taxis going your way, but now, everyone of them were going the wrong route.
It seemed like 10-15 minutes, but no West End Cabs???

Finally she yelled out "Rasta, you Westend?"

Yeah, yeah the driver yelled back.

We walked the few feet and got in ahead of the other folks that were waiting.

We made it to 3Dives and first thing I noticed was the smoke.
It was like the place was on fire!

from the floor to the top of my head, there was the cooking smoke from the grill.

We walked through it and found a seat at one of the round tables.

We ordered some drinks and then looked at the Menu on the chalkboard.

Can't remember what she had, but from all that smoke I knew
there had to be some chicken coming off anytime now.

It was nice.

Me, looking casual and like a pretty lady.

Nice to have a woman who can look good, but still go to a casual place and feel fine.
I thought to myself
"Whew, baby....you saved me a lot of money by changing your mind on where to eat."

We ate, then had enough to stop off at canoe for cocktails too.

It was a good night.
