We have stayed at Merrils II and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes it is on the beach. From the times I have stopped at Fun Holiday I would prefer Merrils.
This one was converted into a high-end AI that is marketed to Italians. I believe it's now called the Vera Club. Passed by in January, and the place looks interesting.
I love Merrils, have stayed 3times. better beach Imo. great vibe.(relaxed) but what on beach isn't.
Drifters is next door, Yellow Bird next door the other way. Relax it's ALL good.
Heck I would LOVE to be in your shoes right now. As long as we are in Jamaica "all is well"! Like was said and how I say as well. "it's how you make". Safe travels boss!

all of Merrill's Resorts are on the beach, one was sold to an Italian outfit, so you don't want that one ! the other 2 are far more superior than Fun Holiday...we have stayed both. once your at Merrill's take walk to FB and compare for your self but in my opinion your far better off being at Merrill's.

Stayed at II many years ago it was fine, yes on the beach. I didn't know it offered anything other than AI plans, but yeah have to agree in my opinion a step above FH.
