If you're interested in maybe trying the cliffs, check out Le Mirage. You get a free shuttle to Charela, daily, and the rooms are very similar to Charela's. Also, you get a $25 voucher (per person) for any meal/drinks at Le Vendome. My wife and I used the voucher for our one "nice" dinner and it covered almost the whole bill. We're cliff-dwellers, but it was nice to be able to hang out on Charela's beach whenever we wanted.
