And that's with a volume/govt. discount. A used 37' foot Boston Whaler Outrage 370 goes for anywhere between $270,000 to $350,000 USD depending on the engine configuration. I'm sure since it was an interception vessel it had all of the bells and whistles.

you mean no one believes someone would just randomly steal a 37 ft twin engine boat?
the logistics alone to steal a boat like this are mind boggling. it would take quite the operation to move the boat, let alone steal it.
