Great news. The current product is brutal.

Always was available here in Ontario, but why anyone would buy instead of a decent tasting beer?
Trip #59 most of February
Never did like that Latrobe, PA Red Stripe. My only concern is uncrontroled shipping conditions leading to skunky beer. The best beer is fresh and local!
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. KJV Psalm 68:4
Have to agree with Ras,Red Stripe on the island is great and the PA beer just doesn't cut it.I think we will settle on drinking it fresh on the island and drink local beers at home!
This trend of "imported" being made locally really chaps my ass. Foster's, Becks, Red Stripe, and more, are not just BREWED here, but don't resemble the genuine article in taste at all. At least you can still get real Heineken and Guiness in the US. In a twist of irony you could say....Jamaican Guiness is just as bad as Pennsylvania Red Stripe.
Glad to hear this! I wouldn't expect a price increase, as they didn't lower prices when they started brewing it here in the states and still charge import prices for it (usually $7.99-$8.99 a six pack).
Check the label poolguywindsor. Red Stripe beer in Canada is made by Moosehead. Nice that it will come from Jamaica again. Not sure how they will get it here (well "there" to Canada, cuz I'm here in Negril now). Probably have to ship it in big liquid containers from Jamaica and bottle it in Canada. Canada has import and labeling law that Red Stripe will have to abide by.
I hope they resume exporting Dragon stout now as well.
