Out of professional curiosity ,I was wondering where the nearest power plant to Negril is & how they generate most of there power? or Jamaica in general

Here is a picture of the islandwide electrical grid. All generating plants are interconnected. There is a main generating plant outside Montego Bay and a Hydro Plant on the Black River which connects (I believe) to a load distribution facility outside of Sav towards Ferris Cross. Others might have a better explanation.
