Right next door, toward town, is the Donaldson's Inn. Long time, local, family owned property with three different places to eat. Right on the beach is "Miss Lena's Inn Ting" which serves breakfast and lunch. The Rasta Breakfast is fantastic. Lunch will depend on what is fresh and available. For dinner on the road side is another family member (sister I believe) who has a small local establishment which features only local food (fish, chicken, soups, etc..) and only open at night. Across the road is arguably the best (well know?) Jerk Shack in Negril ................ the world famous OSSIE"S ............ Ossie is another family member (brother)......... they also feature a wicked game of dominoes .............. lots of local drivers stop in so there is always a crowd at the domino table.

Also on the beach side is June's shop (another sister) with towels, beach wraps, cravings etc.... at a great price. Her shop is featured on many travel sites as it is so photogenic.

If you are interested in a great, reasonably priced place to stay RIGHT on the beach, ask to see the upper beach front rooms at the Donaldsons Inn. Price is right and the views can not be beat. When I say beach front I mean BEACH FRONT. Out the door of your room right into the sand. Once you stay there you are part of the "family" and will always be welcome with open arms.

Interesting, I had somehow missed Donaldson's. I just checked their website, looks like a cool place.

Website very old and does not show the upper beach front rooms which are our favorite. Here is a photo showing the beach front rooms.

Can't go wrong at Donaldsons Inn. Stayed there 11 times and it's true that once you stay there you are part of the family
