If you like good fried potatoes, and I mean sliced thin, nicely seasoned, crispy edges, with or without eggs or other meat options, try the German Bar @ Mary's Bay, it is between Canoe and Miyard, on the 'near' west end. They also make a nice salad. And their rum punch is good too.
The German bar does breakfast?
Check their website for opening hours, maybe not until 11 am, but don't quote me, check it yourself. Anyway, you can get those fried potatoes, eggs, bratwurst, and I can't think of the cut of meat they do a couple ways, all day into the evening, until they stop serving. The cutlet(?) dish is on the edge of my mind, just out of reach ha ha. Xxxxxx with pepper sauce, sometimes they offer Xxxxxx with mushroom sauce. Beaten flat, dipped in egg and crumbs, pan fried. Yummy.
Note, if you get potatoes and eggs, they mix the eggs into it, so if you prefer eggs on the side, request it.
I think your thinking of there schnitzel Lola. They serve it different ways, my wife had to try and replicate it once back home, have to visit there at least a couple of times per visit. I know they used to be open for breakfast (didn't get to try it) but I don't think they still are according to the waitress working there in January . Has any one tried there sandwiches to go? I know there Pizza is very nice. We have had good luck with there service also
Had the omelet at country country and loved it. Good and fast. Yum.
