Our first trip to Negril was to PV. Many great memories there! I'm not certain I would go now, as it's a little far from the action for us. But for a first trip to Jamaica - it was perfect. Caught us hook, line, and sinker....

On my last trip(1 mo ago) i was scheduled to be at PV for 3 days.Management canceled on me and I had to find a new place. Left a bad taste in my mouth,but this is nice to know that it is fairly nice. I got my room through airbnb and was $55 a night.On the positive side i got to spend more time up on the west end which was new for me and I had a blast. Any comments(positive) on the natural beach?

We have been to Negril many times, but are not very familiar with the north end of Long Bay. Are there restaurants within walking distance of PV or will we need a cab? Closer than Boardwalk.
