Re: Point Village Trip Report
On my last trip(1 mo ago) i was scheduled to be at PV for 3 days.Management canceled on me and I had to find a new place. Left a bad taste in my mouth, but this is nice to know that it is fairly nice. I got my room through airbnb and was $55 a night. On the positive side i got to spend more time up on the west end which was new for me and I had a blast. Any comments(positive) on the natural beach?

Re: Point Village Trip Report
Limeex2- The nude beach- well, we spent a bit of time at Boardwalk that day drinking, when the group decided that we should try to walk all the way to Point Village via the beach. I told them I didn't think Hedo would let us walk through, but we decided to try it anyways. So, we get to Hedo, one of the newbies asks the guard if we can just walk through to get to Point Village. He allows it on the condition that we behave ourselves. So, we entered and there was a couple of ladies set up selling stuff. The brave newbie who instigated this whole thing decides she needs a carved bowl from a vendor at Hedo....lol. (Maybe you had to be there but it was pretty funny). So, after the purchase, we walk thru Hedo and guess what- just a bunch of naked people. I mean ALOT of naked people. We walked thru quietly with our blinder's on. Then, we got to the Point Village au natural beach and the guard asks us if we are residence at the Point. I tell her we are at unit 185. She asks who the manager is and I tell her. She then let us thru. Again, we walked thru with blinders on.......so I am sorry I have nothing I can tell you, other than the security was very good.

Here is a link to suite 185 Irieonline. There is a cost list and availability calendar for you. Jenn, yes Point Village is far removed from all the action on the beach, having said that, Point Village is so very quiet. Far from the road traffic and beach band noise. The exception to the rule is right now as The Royalton Hotel(old Grand Lido) is going up right now. Very noise construction as they put up the 4th floor.

You can walk through Hedo and back to Point Village all day until 6:00, then the lock the gate at the prude beach exit.
