i've GOT TO ''say'' this

i know that ''chicken-thread'' is closed,
but there's something i wanna say .... need to say

there AIN'T nothing wrong with the Jamaican chickens
..IF you ever are served, buy, and/or eat some so-called bad-chicken .... such as it's to dry or something,,, it ain't Jamaica's fault or the chicken-grower's fault.

it's the fault of WHO-ever cook-ed that chicken. [[[ period ]]


this trip, i've eaten more chicken than i should-have
:-(
haven't had NOT ONE bad chicken 'whatever' .... breast, leg, thigh, wing, neck, feets ..... ALL were perfect-toe..!!!
.........haven't had any beaks or feathers, yet

i've had soup, jerk, baked, broiled etc etc --- ALL juicy and good tasting.

something-something,
i've *noticed*
ESPECIAL-ly with the jerk-chicken
they be-selling 'round Negril, on that beach road..::::::: it SITS over the fire waaaaaaaaaaaaaay-Too long. ............ especially if it's a slow day for the jerk-er.

on too many occasions,
i've seen a jerk-barrel with 3-4 pieces of chicken cookin'
for hours ........ ain't no way he can keep it moist that long .... no way

over-here
in Lucea,
i spend a LOT of time sitting on the Lucea-verandaH ::::: RiGHT-behind 2-jerk cookers .... and a couple others across the street ..... i've watch 'em set-up, prep and cook ------ been watching 'em for YEARS..!!..

they 'do' chicken *different* than they do in Negril ,,, for the most part.
......and their chicken be-selling FAST FAST FAST --- juice be drippin' ...... full-of-flavor ... even the jerk-pit smoke 'taste' good & juicy

again::>>> blame the chef for any bad chicken you may eat :::: especially if it's dry.

this has been a really *interesting* trip

as if,
my Ja-life
has circled-back to when i first came here ::::: primarily in terms of the Ja-people i've re-run-into over the past several days.

folks I first met
many-moons ago :::: during those first few trips, when i was staying in Negril in a time-share set-up.

back-in-the-day
lucky-me met some outstanding folks ::::: folks to whom I *owe* a LOT..!!

for example,
let's start with an item on my 'to-do' list :::::: getting the glass/screen fixed on my cracked tablet.

several days ago,
at that thing-y @ Travelor's
I saw MissGail of TreeHouse ----- we all know what a jewel she is, na tru .... she did some things, and showed me some things that enhanced my Ja-experiences

as i listened to the children perform at Travelors
on the front-row
i saw Mr. Theo Chambers and his wife [[ dunno if she still doing it, but she once ran TimesSquare ]]] ...... she too help-ed me.

* whew *

hadn't seen Theo in loooooooooooooong time ..... to me, he's one those 'visionary' type folks .... kinda-sorta like Rob

Theo as I recall had one of the FiRST internet cafes in Negril ... it may have been the first. ....... in subtle-ways he help me, during the brief chats we had, when i came to use the computers.

working for Theo, and one of his key-staff-members was a VERY-young guy .... VERy-young ..... young but SMART ...!!!...

young-guy was teaching himself, with books, and i don't know what(?) else to learn networking, and a bunch of other computer things ..... ... remember, this was back in the Pre-world-wide web days. .... before digital cameras .... before email, as we know it.

i chatted briefly with Theo and his wife ... mention-ed the young-man
and
left the Travelers event.

'bout Thane ...... well,,, after our initial re-meeting at the round about

the other day
i went to where he work:::: Yellow Computer

we chatted
quick catch-up
and showed him and asked about my crack-ed tablet

he went over to a shelf::::: sure 'nuff ----- he had replacement screens,,,,,, but NOT for my old-tablet

:-(

gotta find a plan B
..he explained i had no problem,,,,, and should be able to find one,,, and proceeded to tell me how to DIY it.... 'til then the tablet is fine operationally

whew .... T M I ............... at least i know it can be fixed
