For myself, and I assume many of you who visit Jamaica regularly, music is so ingrained in my memories and love of Jamaica. I love how music seems to always be playing wherever you go. It's like having your very own soundtrack to your vacation. Since even before my first trip to Jamaica, I have listened to reggae music. Now I listen to a wide variety of roots, dancehall, soca, etc. For those of you who love the music as much as the island, I thought you might enjoy the link below. It is an interesting assessment on dancehall versus soca music from a selector. I would love to hear your opinions.
