    Country Country

Would appreciate any feedback here. We have stayed on the cliffs the lst few years. This Nov we are doing a split stay. We are also taking friends that gas never been to the islands. I booked Country Country. My hubs likes those stand alone cottages. I like the south end of the beach better personally. Actually only walked that direction past CCLP a few times. We're not in Margarittaville ,we prefer the smaller places. What's everyone's thoughts . I do like those bananna pancakes they have.

Nice resort, rooms are nice, good service, included breakfast is excellent. Not much to walk to further up once you hit the AIs.

We just stayed there in December. The grounds, the staff, and the food are all incredible! The only negative is that the food and drinks are a little pricey. As long as you do not plan to eat every meal there and you don't plan to drink from the bar all day long, you will love it!

They do have a fridge in the room and you can get ice from the bar if you want to stock your own booze.

This will be our 4th time staying there. I agree the staff, the cottage and the grounds are incredible. We usually only ate breakfast and a few bar snacks there. We stopped at Mega mart and got beer, Rum and water to stock the fridge with. its really in a great spot on the beach

Thanks so much for replies. We always stock for beer, that's why a frig is a must in our choice. Hopefully there are some good lil bars close by.

Not all rooms are stand alone, in both categories.

I should add that Country Country is a great value with a solid staff. I have stayed there 5 times and only once I was less thrilled with my room. Opal at the bar is a sweetheart and the security is spot on. Look on Expedia for the best rates. I saw it for $106 yesterday for a room in low season.

CC has a great beach area per guest ratio. Lots of space.

We have stayed there 10 times and really think it is a great value in high season, never went other times of the year. When you add all the taxes other hotels charge, CC's prices that already include those is very competitive IMO. The staff there are great. My only negatives are fairly petty and obviously don't prevent us from returning: some of the older cottages could use updating and they will not promise you will get the room you requested.

As others have said drinking at the bar isn't the cheapest, we often head over to Tree House's bar as its cheaper and busier. Dinners are very good there, we like to eat all over Negril but always have 1 or 2 dinners at CC.

Across the street a bit further north (just past Ossies Jerk) is a small store you can get just about anything from beer and rum to bug spray etc., easy walking distance.
