I went to meet a few friends tonight and we had supper at the German Bar. They have really good pizza which two of us had. The wind was blowing a little and the waves were building.
Canoe looks different from this angle but you can see the whole bar. I didn't realize how colourful it looks until I saw it from here.
And here's the sunset. It was a bit difficult because there was a building in the way LOL

Sue I really enjoy your trip report. Short and sweet and perfect for those of us with severe ADD. And until you take a boat ride across the beach and West End you have no idea what you are missing. I really enjoy renting a boat and traveling from the beach to the West End, or vise versa as you really get a different vantage point from the water. Thanks for sharing...
Your Canoe shot is interesting as it looks like it is damned up from that angle. That beach is wide open and makes for a good stop if you are kayaking along the West End.
