Tuesday arrives and its Blue Hole Mineral Spring Day. Terry Dailey had organized a trip to the springs with Lenbert, of Pub Crawl fame. We departed from Fun Holiday about mid morning and it was only about a 20 minute trip to the springs. The Blue Hole Mineral Springs actually has quite a complex. There is the mineral spring of course, but there is a bar, guest rooms, a large pool filled with mineral spring water and lots of shaded seating around the pool.

Continuing with Blue Hole Mineral Springs photos:
About mid afternoon Terry had arranged to have Dwayne's Taxi take anyone who wanted to return Negril to do so. We were getting a little wore out from too much booze and sun as well as late nite porch parties. We returned to Fun Holiday and then wandered down to Woodstock Lobster Shack for something to eat.

Late night porch parties seem to be the in thing these days, hehehe.More great pictures Chuck, thanks for sharing!!
Really enjoying your photos!
what an awesome "average" trip report, thanks for taking the time to do so!!
Peace,
Looking forward to our next visit to beautiful Jamaica! See you soon!!
It was already humpday when I awoke to fresh coffee. We had ordered both a fridge and a coffee maker when we checked in as Cathy can't seem to survive without her early morning coffee. We had both but it had taken some persistence to get a usable coffeemaker. The first coffeemaker didn't work at all. The second was so filthy and full of mold that we couldn't use it. I guess the office staff finally realized that Cathy wasn't going to let the problem slide and we had gotten a coffeemaker that actually worked and was clean.
We decided to head down to Bar B Barn for breakfast. We have eaten there many a time and always enjoyed great meals and good service.

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast at Bar B Barn we decided to split up as we both had our own plans for the day or at least a part of the day. You see, later we had plans to join a bunch of rowdy tourists on the Pub Crawl. Cathy, being a professional shopper was headed to Times Square. I was headed to the Farmers market which is only held on the last Wednesday of the month. This was the only time I have been to Negril when the market is open so I had to get there to explore.
When I see large quantities of eggs in Florida they are always refrigerated, not so in Jamaica.
I have been travelling to Negril for many years and often am carrying a large camera. This can be both fun and also an annoyance. Many times a local will not want there picture taken, OR they want to be paid if you take their picture. At the market, none of the vendors even commented that I was taking pictures, they were happy to answer questions and it made for a nice visit.
Where in the world did you find rowdy tourists in Negril, there has to be some serious searching happening there!!
