Dr Quality lives up to his name
Had our first taste of Quality's fish at the Seaview Restaurant last night, but won't be the last. Sorry no pics but escovitch snapper and pan fried grouper, large boneless portions and some of the best fish we have had in Negril.

Bummer. Tried calling a few times for a pick up last night and only got vm. Also sent a text but no reply. Maybe it was too late? About 7:45 or so. Hopefully I'll get to check it out this week.
Walked the beach hung out at one of the tiny spots on the beach past roots then had best in the west on the way home.

both plates came out wrong . . . tasteless; . . .

Went last February, highlight meal of the trip. Seriously yummy fish. Man knows what he is doing. Glad to hear he is still somewhat operating since it is slow season. Hope he's open in October when we are there. We have his number just in case. Won't visit Negril without getting him to cook for us again. Also check out his carving shop down on the west end.

jitterbug, sorry to hear you had a bad dinner there. I've eaten there 4 or 5 times, always good. Took a neighbor one night, she loved every morsel. I also like that they serve mashed potatoes.

Mikey, I called the number from their page under dining section and would have been there a little past 7:45 last night. I think his phone was acting up because it kept cutting out when I first called. He was open and had a good selection of fish. Give him another chance if you can.
Hey jitterbug, happens to us all. Been to places other people love and get that one dish that just didn't happen that day or our tastes just don't match up. Beauty of Negril is that there are places for everyone and always someplace new to try.
