I hear ya on the 9/11 thing! Air Jamaybe was supposed to begin gates at Dulles, about 25 min from where we lived when the travel industry crashed and the whole thing fell through.

My best travel memories are Air Jamaybe!
Anyone else remember being able to check in your luggage for AJ flights are your resort the morning of your flight? It was awesome! Checked it in, loaded in a truck, got boarding passes and didn't have to see our checked luggage again until we got home! Hung out at Hedo for several more hours before transport close to our flight time because with boarding passes in hand we could go straight to security and on the the gate.

Breakfast! Air Jamaybe gave me scrambled eggs and sausage breakfast on the plane along with mimosa's all at no extra charge!

I got bumped off AirJamaybe once and they gave my wife and I first class tickets the next day, a check for $400 each, a typed letter about it in case getting back a day late caused a problem at work, free transfers to and from a night at a nearby A-I (Sunset Beach Resort).

Damn I miss how travel used to work! Now it's like I have to be thankful an airline is willing to let me give them my money. Sad times!
