Jaherring is no troll, just one who likes jet skis.
Jamaica has a large and virtually unused coastline. I don't think it is necessary to pack everything into one stretch of beach. Horses riding and jet ski businesses should be encouraged to operate on the outskirts and the Chamber of Commerce should develop a system of free or subsidized transportation to get visitors to and from these attractions.Jet Skis were recently banned in Negril due to a number of issues. Please be kind enough to give us your feedback on this matter.
Date of your most recent visit : November 10th, 2015
First visit or repeat guest: repeated multiple times over 30+ years
Age group: 55 – 74
Have you ever ridden a jet ski in Negril: Yes (several years back)
Does jet ski availability play an important part of your vacation: No but does play a part. Only becomes "important" if there are jet skis and then I would avoid the beach in Negril.
Has the absence of jet skis made your vacation more or less enjoyable: More
Please state reason: I prefer the peace and quiet. I believe there is a place for jet ski use but just not on Negril Beach.
Would you like to see jet skis operating in Negril again: No Let jet ski usage develop on the outskirts of Negril and the people who want to use them can go there to use them.
Just my opinion.

He's a complete and total jet ski troll. Not a troll in general, but when that topic comes up he becomes a troll.
Date of your visit Feb. 20-29, 2016
First visit or repeat guest: Repeat, our 8th time
Age group: 55-74 (60's)
Have you ever ridden a jet ski in Negril: No
Does jet ski availability play an important part of your vacation: Yes - we are unlikely to stay in a place with jet skis
Has the absence of jet skis made your vacation more or less enjoyable: More
Please state reason: My wife swims on vacations - for example, twice a day from White Sands beach to Alfred's raft. After several years of visiting Negril every winter, the number of jet skis being operated in a disrespectful, irresponsible and threatening way made us consider other options for our annual beach vacation. We did not return to Jamaica in 2015. With the jet ski ban, we did return to Negril in 2016 and it was a much better experience; once again, I felt it was safe for my wife to simply swim, without anyone zooming by very near her.
Would you like to see jet skis operating in Negril again: No. If jet skis return to Negril as they were in 2013 and 2014 we will probably not return.
Noise, smell, environmentally damaging....sounds like the airport I'll be leaving from on my next trip to paradise.
