Very troubling. Lawlessness to the max. Has dampened significantly this 30 year plus visitor's desire to visit Negril. Sure murders happen everywhere but those are known places in most cities and we stay clear as good judgment would dictate. With the string of murders in Negril, there seems to be a sense among the bad guys that they can do it without being held accountable. I am now afraid of being in Negril. There is no excuse for such lax security in an area so dependent on tourism. What a shame. So many good people lose out, we the tourists and more importantly the generally wonderful Jamaican people.
