[QUOTE=Kelila;180523]Moderately priced is what I want. Another poster says the Grand Pineapple is on this standard, and it is right in the middle of everything....That sounds like a winner !!!![/QUO
The Grand Pineapple is not a fancy resort. It is small, basic, clean and safe. It does have air conditioning and it is all inclusive. The liquor is not top shelf and the food is very tasty, but basic. There are not a lot of activities included but you are in the middle of just about everything you can imagine. Captain Moses is just a few doors down and offers boat rides, snorkeling, sunset trips and probably much, much more. The resort has a very laid back/chill vibe which we enjoy.
Be sure to use their on line calculator so that you can see the discount that they offer. If you just look at the pricing on their website, you will not see the discounts.
Just a short walk down the beach is Bourbon Beach which generally has a lot of live music. Food is fairly inexpensive up and down the beach. Directly next door to the Pineapple is Alfred's and they generally have live music too. The beach in front of the Pineapple is awesome. Lots of shade or sun and their security does a great job keeping the vendors moving.
Good luck with your decisions and let us know where you decide to book! Cool runnings!
