Question about Grand Pineapple???

Whaagwaan? Tinking bout staying at GP for a likkle bit. Since it's AI, do the bartenders whip out Dirty Bananas & Hummingbirds with no problem, or is it a smoothie machine? Is all da beer on tap? How would you rate the food? I've read where they re-use food, which is fine to a point. Just curious. Thanks for any and all input. We trust you.

We were there as recently October 2015 and we love the Grand Pineapple! The bartenders can make just about anything you ask for....no smoothie machine and beer on tap.
The food was interesting. Everything was very tasty, but the offerings became very repetitive, but that is part of the beauty of Grand Pineapple pricing. I personally like the comfort of the basic AI even if I only use it for breakfast (if I have decent breakfast available to me, it makes my day go easy) and bar. You can also order grill sandwiches....hamburgers, cheese burgers, grilled cheese, etc throughout the day. Since the Pineapple is in the middle of the beach (Long Bay) you are close to other food and bars...Alfred's is directly next door...Bourbon Beach just a short walk.
The resort is very small, clean and safe. The vibe is very chill which is why we go. Not many activities provided, but they are all around you....Captain Moses is just 2-3 properties down. Beach towels are plentiful without an exchange process.
We stayed beach side in a manor house room. The room was large, king sized bed and great air conditioning. The bathroom was basic but functional and clean. Our room was just a few steps away from the dining and bar area and then then there is the beach....WOW! Security is ever present on the beach and they do a great job of keeping the vendors moving. They also try to keep track of you if you walk down the beach. Enjoy!
