GuitarGuy,
We have been staying at the Beach Club on and off for 28 years, most recently last February. We do stay at Negril Beach Club Condos that you book through Jean, not through the hotel. Their link and phone numbers are in the hotel section of this site http://www.negrilbeachcondo.com/ . It has changed very little in the last 28 years just a little older (aren't we all). Still a great beach, great balconies (we always stay 2nd or 3rd floor) and close to many restaurants, entertainment venues and town. I do think you will need to double that budget for a studio condo with ac. Not much I would be willing to stay in on the beach during high season for just $50 per night. Go before the holidays or after April and you will find cheaper rates.
