Belmont

Can anyone tell me anythin about the town of Belmont? grocery stores? restaurants? places to stay? is there enough things to do for a week nearby? Thanks.

we got married in Belmont in 2009 at a very nice and cheap guesthouse right next door to the Peter Tosh memorial, we love Belmont, very quiet, fishing village, a great short trip to Pelican Bar , which is awesome, and the trip up Black River for 2 miles, p.m. me for any more details, soon come

I have been to Belmont a couple of times near Tosh's place and have only found 1 bar and a cook shop in the general vicinity. If you need any outside stimulus I'm not sure you would find it.

We took a drive to Appleton and YS falls last year and stopped in Belmont for supper and to watch the sun go down. It is a very friendly and peaceful town. We stopped at the Luna-sea Inn (nice play on words). Lunch was fantastic and the owner took us around to show us the suites. The place had just be renovated and looked very nice. Some suites right on the ocean edge and a few back from the sea but still within 20 feet. Here is the website.
