Great thread. I would add that one can add a water taxi from beach to the cliffs on a whim with minimal effort. Whether you want to go to Canoe, or deeper in the West End the options are almost limitless. I have taken rides to Canoe, Peewee's, and Catcha mostly. While a taxi is definitely cheaper, a slow ride on the water in a glass bottom boat with a good buzz is priceless. I have yet to find a boat captain to refuse with a fair price, so if you are so inclined just ask.
