Nice thought on the DVDs. Easy to pack if not bringing the cases.
Question on the coding though. Some US DVDs arent coded for international play. Is that a problem?

I can't speak for everyone, of course, but all the DVDs I have purchased (literally hundreds) and brought down (literally hundreds) have been in NTSC format. Most DVD players come from Region 1 (the Americas) and not Europe Region 2 used in Jamaica. Although some are still only using PAL (Europe) it is becoming less common.
