Re: Tim Air -- figured it was too good to be true.
Hussyband,
On our first flight from Montego Bay to Negril there was a big storm over the usual
coast line route. The pilot keep trying to get the plane to go that route (don't know why).
Needless to say, this cause a very, very rough ride. Wife was frightened. I put my arm
around her to try to comfort her. She threw it off saying, "Don't touch me, don't talk to me.
I can't believe you talked me into getting up air in this little plane". Wow, great way to
start a vacation, I thought.
Eventually the pilot gave up and took the mountain route with a smooth flight.
Great scenery on the mountain route I might add.

Oh, the mountain route was pretty, no denying that. It was the first time we had gone that way by air.
What got me was that damn terrain/proximity alarm going off the entire way. It's hard to enjoy a flight when you are cramped (I'm just too tall and too big for those little planes) and an alarm warning of imminent crashing is going off nonstop
