At 500 pm EDT, 2100 UTC, the government of Jamaica has discontinued
the Hurricane Warning, and has replaced it with a Tropical Storm
Warning for the entire island.

Back at the beach Command Centre, our famous Seven Mile Beach has avoided any damage. The "storm surge" appears to be about two inches...

Thanks for the beach pic. I was hoping you would post one, but I didn't want to risk life and limb to get it. Looks like that was not an issue. Happy that I will have plenty of walkable beach when I am there in less than 2 weeks. Looks like Jamaica is going to avoid a major hit, but thinking about the folks in Haiti and Cuba.
