    Lightbulb Driving Jamaica Style!

Those that travel around Jamaica know that the South Coast route from Negril to Kingston & beyond can be a little rough.

I've been driving the North Coast route from Negril to Kingston for the last few trips and was excited to take Rob for the first time recently!
From Negril to Montego Bay, Runaway Bay and then just before Ocho Rios is this fabulous new toll highway that opened up earlier this year. Believe it or not...it's quicker than the South Coast route and soooo much smoother.

Of course, this is only for those wanting to travel a bit easier/quicker or for a different experience.

Chickster...good catch. Yes, they have the solar lights on both toll roads and various other parts of the island.

Wow! This looks a bit different than the old road to Negril that I still dream about.

Unreal - did you say MoBay to Negril? How long does that drive take now? I thought the new road went from Ocho to Kingston! This looks great.
