hello,
was hoping i could private message someone who is familiar with the beach front rooms.
i know there are 3 that are over the restaurant area and two on the beach directly but don't know about the others.
thank you

Spanky,
Please feel free to ask anything (Negril or Jamaica related) and receive answers here unless you need it to be private. This will be helpful to others if people respond here. For every question asked, there are others who have that same question.
Thanks.
Negril.com - For the vacation that never ends!
a friend booked the lower level ocean front. . . . the room had a musty smell and she ended up staying on the upper one which i got to see.
great view, no balcony, good water pressure, good all the way around.
We never have chosen the beach front rooms because they can't guarantee which one you will get (upper or lower) and I wouldn't like the upper ones (not over the restaurant) because they don't have a real balcony. We love to sit out on our balcony in the morning and evenings.

I'm going to piggy back off of the discussion about Rooms! We are heading there in over New Years with our daughter and looking for a quiet room but with a nice balcony/view for us to enjoy while she's sleeping, any recommendations? Also, if I email them before we go, what are the chances they might honour a request of at least the second floor? How far in advance would you recommend to contact them? Thanks for your help!
i would mention to the 800 to add onto your reservation probably now and again a couple weeks before
