2 guys had them last trip for me. Small typically quiet cliffs property and they launched their drones that sounded like a leaf blower and hovered above taking pics. I believe the flew all the way between Tensing and the Lighthouse taking pics/video. Somewhat obnoxious and intrusive in my view. Do as you wish, but don't expect to make many friends with your new toy.
You Tube has a video taken by a drone over Rick's Cafe. I watched it three times before I noticed our little Jeep parked in the parking lot and sure enough, there we were sitting beside the pool. My wife and I are now minor celebrities (along with everyone else in the shot mind you). I found this under the Aviation Authority when I was checking out the chance to do some flying here in Jamaica. Might be some useful information;

I think many (me and mrs.Wee) go away to also get away from societies electronic umbilical cord and peoples need to continually be connected.
we don't even bring our cell phones....
respect peoples right to privacy and anonymity.
Leave it behind, would be an expensive loss if it were to fall into the wrong hands![]()
There is a gentleman at Tensing this week that brought one. I was so intrigued, I'm purchasing one when we get home.
Hoooo boy...yup!
Don't be within rock throwing distance...apparently some people here have excellent aim...we know of at least two drones that have been taken out with rocks.
Too me it's equally as bad as the high powered zoom lenses...no privacy/feels invasive...most people want to know if a camera is on them in such a personal manner...so at least they have the option of ducking out of the photo.
If you get enough of them in the sky...eventually you're going to see a fabulous crash!![]()
I can only speak for myself but if I saw one of those things flying over my back yard I would do everything in my power to bring it down, be it as mentioned earlier with a rock or even my pellet gun. I know they can be very useful for such things as capturing video but as soon as you invade someone's privacy, especially if you fly it over someone's private property, I think you deserve to suffer any consequences.
With all that said, I realize these gadjets are only going to grow in popularity and people will pack them to travel with. If you feel the need to take it please be as respectful as you can of people's desire for privacy (and need for peace and quiet) . Also, keep in mind to avoid the power lines.
It really comes down to the golden rule, treat others like how you would wish to be treated.

Personally ...I'd love to see the footage -
either way ... let's not fool ourselves here people - we are constantly under the watchful eye of someone -
Did they not just mount a video camera ( re- westend pole mounted ) .. by MiYard ?
Enjoy
Lol...so true! If you knew who I knew and how much we're being watched around the world...yikes!
But, I think it's an apples and oranges comparison...the governments aren't posting their photos of us all over the internet etc...I know for sure photos aren't being publicly shared from the surveillance camera near Miyard.
