I had really good pumpkin soup at Sun Beach and Seastar. It was really a treat because I wasn't expecting it from either place before the meal.

Two of the best pumpkin soups I've had are from LTU Pub & Hungry Lion.

Roots Cafe, and LTU. I prefer Roots when it comes to pumpkin soup (sips).

Love the pumpkin soup at Chill Awhile (Idle Awhile) with a side of garlic bread for dipping.

Hungry Lion doesn't get much in the way of shout outs on the board and I don't understand it. It's one of my must eat places every trip. Beautiful venue, always tasteful music and outstanding food. I've never had a bad meal there. Respect --Marblehead

I agree Marblehead. I've been going to Negril since 1990 (around 60 trips) and didn't know about Hungry Lion until Lenbert took us several years ago on the Pub Crawl. Great food & atmosphere. We go at least once every trip now but never tried the pumpkin soup. Will make a point of trying it this trip.
Alfred's makes a wonderful chunky chicken, vegetable, (dumpling?) pumpkin soup. Love LTU as well but it's more like a broth.

I love the Pumpkin soup at Catcha.....the creamy kind not the one with chunks in it.
