    The Beach

    We just returned from Negril and the Beach is bigger than I have ever seen it in 25 years of trips there.........Here are a couple of pictures taken in front of Idle Awhile..........Can't wait to go back in Feb......

    Damn! I'll get thirsty making that long haul. By the time I get to the water, I'll have to go back and order another drink!

    I am so glad the US$10million Negril breakwater project was scrapped by the JLP. These beautiful photos are pretty good evidence that the right decision was made.

    The beach is truely amazing. I just got back home. to 50 mph winds, snow, 10 degrees. ugh. {Minnesota}

    It's been a long 2 year wait, but by tomorrow afternoon I'll be working my way down that beach to Sunnyside and Tony's.

    But wait, I thought the sky was falling and the polar ice caps are melting causing the sea levels to rise and flood Negril.



    Glad to hear the beach is healthy. However it is no time for complacency, what's left of the reef needs to be protected.

    We stayed at Co Co last March & the beach looks twice as wide , we sat near the sign everyday .hope it stays this size Back this Jan/ Feb & will really enjoy walking up & down with my bubba & honey on one of the most beautiful natural beaches for the 7 th time
