    West end Spot

I have stayed several times at Tigress ii - Laneway just before Chicken Lavish. I know there are Fridges in the rooms for sure and probably access to a communal stove, although I am too laid back to cook when in Negril! Check out their Website - www.realnegril.com/tigress2/ - Ian is a Great young guy (compared to us boomers !) running the family business and its a real nice spot just off the lighthouse road but close to lots of Restaurants & bars.

A quick check of kayak.com revealed the following properties that meet all of your required criteria, listed by price in descending order, all are less than $140/night, including taxes:

    The Palms
    Rondel Village
    Xtabi
    Foote Prints
    Sunset on the Cliffs

I did not list properties with more than 40 rooms, since you seem to want a smaller, quieter hotel experience. The following are in your budget but have more than 40 rooms, but less than 70...:

    Rooms on the Beach
    Legends
    White Sands
    Samsara
    Travellers Beach

There are more properties with the beach or cliff location, but they do not have pools. I didn't bother to list these, as this seems to be a deal breaker.

There are also more properties that DO fit your bill, but aren't listed on sites that kayak.com searches, or don't have their Feb/March data available yet....

Catcha would be nice. I would have checked, but their website is down....

Rondal Village is very inexpensive, we have stayed there many times on the beach side, nice little property. This year we will be staying across the street for 100.00 dollars a night, quiet, I don't mind crossing the street. And no there will be not discounted prices. We will be staying there the last week in Feb. See ya on the beach

Check out Treehouse. It has everything you mentioned but the hot plate. If you get a suite you have a kitchenette. Boardie gailnegril is the owner and frequently has deals that are lower than the advertised rate. Contact her directly for more info. We have stayed there many times and put many friends there as well. Oh and one of the best parts is the breakfast buffet that is free with the room!

catcha gardens does not meet Debrahmw's requirements - it's not on the water.

my experience on the 'special price' thing is - if you're there in-person standing at the front desk cash in hand, it's not unusual for a deal to be made... but trying to book in advance over the phone or on a website, not so much. and less likely also in high season as was also mentioned.

eta: i just wrote a glowing recommendation seconding the Blue Cave Castle idea - and then realized they don't fit your bill either - they have no pool.... dang it.

I always negotiate....sometimes we can come to agreement and sometimes not but I get a budget and tell them that is what I have - and respectfully ask if that will it work for them?....that said I am excited that you love Westender as I have my first stay coming up soon.
Try Catcha Falling Star - ask for Andrea and see what she can do - not a bad room on the property.
Xtabi is nice - their pool is gardenside as are most of their rooms but a few on sea side.
Other places on cliffs w/pools are Mirage, Negril Escape and Samsara.
Have you looked at negrilonestop.com - they have a great Cliffs and Beach map that shows properties/amenities/photos and rates.
Good luck - let us know where you land and enJOY your reach.

It may be a bit more but you wont go wrong with Catcha Falling Star, has all your looking for and more. Negril Escape would fit as well, I past through there property in august and they were doing a lot of upgrading.

Catch a falling Star should be looked at. A nice nice place on the cliffs.
Sunset at the Palms or CoCo la Plam for the beach. And YES you should call directly and ask for their "BEST RATE". We have had good results doing it this way. ENJOY!!~

bar b barn, has good rates, as done Coco la Palm. Negril Beach Club condos if you want a kitchenette. I loved Country Country and nice mellow vibes there. You are going during peak season so expect rates at their highest. That said it is always worth contacting the resort and trying to get a lesser rate for the week stay. Country Country will do that. Look at negrigonestop.com to get an idea of pricing and special deals for different resorts and great photos and virtual tours as well. You can browse beach and cliff resorts and check out onestop specials as well.
