I'm not a big fan of soup. But the pumpkin soup at Couples Negril was amazing.

We let our first taxi driver in 2007 be our guide to restaurants etc. during our 12 day stay. Hungry Lion was on his list and we've always enjoyed return visits.

Hungry Lion always looks closed when I walk by in October. Is it not open that time of year or just closed during day?

Hungry Lion is only open during peak season...they open well into November and close in April. They don't really advertise all that much either...thus the lack of "shout outs".
    I think it's a lovely property also...food is delicious.

Hungry Lion is one of our favorites and it's been around for a long time. It is just as good to this day for a lovely romantic dinner.
