Last night I heard a screeching of tires and then a huge crash. Today I learned that a young man had smashed into Alfred's sign but miraculous managed to take off. This is what is left of the sign. Since it was a party night the street vendors were lucky not to have been hurt.

Alfred's now has a lifeguard chair.
I got a couple of delicious veggie patties from Norman today.
